Botanical Name: Bursera Graveolens

Plant Part: Wood

Origin: Ecuador

Plant Description: It is a hairy perennial shrub, often used in hedgerows, and stand up to about one meter high (3 feet) with pointed leaves, serrated at the edges and has pinkish-white flowers.

Color: Yellow to light brown liquid

Consistency: Light Palo Santo Essential Oil has a fresh, intense woody aroma with a slight hint of citrus. The Palo Santo tree is primarily found in Ecuador, however it is originally from the arid tropical forests around the South Pacific coast. Only the interior of the tree trunk is where the Palo Santo Oil is concentrated and deposited. The production of the oil and its concentration in their trunk can take up to ten years. This oil is only produced using tree branches that naturally fall to the ground.

Storage Directions: Essential Oils should be stored in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Essential Oils should be stored in colored glass, the most common storage method being used today are Boston Round Bottles in the amber tint.
